70’s/80’s Pop, Funk and R&B sensation Raydio scored 4 Gold Albums during both decades along with 20 singles that charted in the U.S. on both the Top 10 and Top 25 R&B and Pop charts respectively. Some of the groups biggest Hits Include “You Can’t Change That”, “ Jack & Jill”, “Two Places”, “For Those Who Like Too Grove”, “A Woman Needs Love”,  and many more.

The Original Lineup consisted of Ray Parker Jr, Arnell Carmichael, Vincent Bonham and Jerry Knight, and with both Carmichael and Parker Jr. sharing lead vocal duties, Raydio dominated the R&B, FUNK, POP and Disco airwaves from 1978-1982. After the release of their Number #1 worldwide hit single Ghostbusters in 1984, the group disbanded to pursue solo careers.

In 2014 Carmichael and Bonham reformed Raydio and toured the U.S. once again performing all of the Raydio Hits along with bandmate Jerry Knight’s Hits like “Overnight Sensation”, “Perfect Fit” and “There’s No Stopping us” from the Hit Movie “Breakin”.

Still touring after all these years, they continue to bring the unique Raydio sound to their audiences courtesy of a Full 7 piece Band, and are wowing crowds with Carmichaels dynamic singing, dancing, and guitar playing, along with Bonham’s masterful arraignments….and “You Can’t Change That!!”
